To honor the wonderful Earl Hamner the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum will organize a very special Walton`s Weekend from August 7 - 9.  Special about this weekend is certainly the place of the celebrations, namely the Botanicum (a garden area with outdoor stage outside Los Angeles) as well as the fact that Earl Hamner will be there to receive the First Will Geer Humanitarian Award.

The event starts on Friday 07 August, with a dinner and cocktail party at a beautifully situated restaurant in Topanga Canyon near the Theatricum. The program consists of dinner, screening of the Earl Hamner -Storyteller documentary, a silent auction and more. It continues on Saturday with a tour of Will Geer's Theatricum, the Award ceremony for Earl Hamner, questions and answer session, autograph session and of course plenty of opportunities for photos and conversation. The highlight of this weekend will probably be a bus tour to the Waltons set at the Warner Bros. Ranch  on Sunday!

Information and an overview of prices can be found on the website of the Theatricum or here.

A few days ago we received the following message from Marion Walmsley:

"Dear friends,

Hope all is well with you.

Jon’s new version of the beloved Waltons "Good Night" song (feat. Judy Norton) from the Earl Hamner Storyteller documentary is now available on itunes and amazon.

Jon originally wrote the song for the Walton’s Christmas Album in 1997. In 2015 he re-wrote the lyrics, re-recorded and released it as a single and for the Earl Hamner Storyteller documentary. Being a multi-instrumentalist, Jon played all the instruments, sang (featuring his Walton’s sister Judy Norton) and produced the recording.

“Good Night” which is a must-have for Waltons fans is now available on amazon, itunes and all other popular platforms.

For your convenience, I attached the single cover as well as the links to the music."

In loving memory of Ralph Waite "Daddy Walton", who has left us a year ago.

Ralph, you are not forgotten ! We often think of you.

Some time ago, a Walton fan from the Netherlands asked for details of the cars from the Waltons. At that time we had not much information for him. Today we can present a fantastic website which shows details and images of the vehicles which has been used in the show. The site is truly magnificent and of course you wil get countless more information about vehicles which were used in many other films and series. For car enthusiasts, this site is a rich source !

We would like to thank the operators of the site for their permission to include their site
toour site!

The page about the vehicles the Waltons can be found at "Walton-Mt. / TV series/cars".

Our Photo gallery is now ready for Android devices.  Sorry, for Apple devices we can't test it.  If you use a Apple device please let us know if it is works. Thank you.

Have fun with all pictures.
