Welcome in Waltons Mountain !

Nice that you have found your way to our website.

In May 2009 we fulfilled our long-cherished dream and traveled for 3 weeks through the southerm states and along the east coast of the Unites States.

As big fans of American TV series " The Waltons" we traveled to Virginia to the area around Charlottesville, especially to Schuyler. In the TV series Schuyler is named "Walton's Mountain". And here is the home of the real Waltons, the Hamner family.

In Germany and all over the world are much more Waltonfans so we decided to create this webpage with our travel report about our visit to the Walton's Museum (yes, it really exist) and with plenty pictures of the museum .

Furthermore you will find more pictures of our trip to the USA, about the wonderful Blue Ridge Parkway and more. In November 2009  the Waltons International  Fan Club  organized a Waltons Reunion in Charlottesville, Virginia. The fans met Earl Hamner, the real John-Boy, and Jon Walmsley " Jason". On our website you will find a lot of photos and two reports about this meeting. And in October 2010 and 2011 we have shared the Walton´s Reunions in Virginia. We met Earl Hamner, Richard Thomas, Mary McDonough, Jon Walmsley, Eric Scott, David Harper and Joe Conley. See more about the Reunions on our site.
